Just finished class at CPR Tally? Use this step-by-step to claim your card, print a PDF, and send proof to your employer or school.

How AHA eCards work (step-by-step)

  • Watch your email after class for an AHA eCard message sent to the email you registered with.
  • Open the claim link in the email and confirm your name. Create or log into your AHA account if prompted.
  • Agree to the terms and claim your eCard. You’ll see your certification details on the screen.
  • Save a PDF (print to PDF) and download your wallet card if offered.
  • Share or verify: send the PDF to your HR/school inbox, or provide your eCard ID so they can verify it.

Didn’t get the email? Check spam, make sure you can receive messages from the AHA, and confirm the email used at registration.

How long does it take to receive my eCard?

At CPR Tally, most students receive their eCard the same day they complete the required skills and paperwork.

Can my employer verify my card online?

Yes. Employers can verify your certification by entering your eCard details on the AHA’s verification page or scanning the QR code on your eCard.

What if I lose my eCard email?

You can look up your eCard using your name and email on the AHA eCards site and re-send the link to yourself.

Can I add my eCard to my school/HR portal?

Yes—upload the PDF or attach your eCard confirmation page. Some portals accept the QR code or eCard ID as well.

Having trouble?

  • Search your inbox for “eCard” and your course name (BLS, ACLS, etc.).
  • Check your junk/spam folder – It is coming from AHA at ecards@heart.org
  • Try your alternate email if you used a personal vs. work address when registering.
  • Confirm your name spelling matches your registration.
